De masterspecialisatie Toxicology bestaat uit verplichte en optionele componenten. De grootste verplichte elementen zijn de twee onderzoeksprojecten, beiden inclusief het schrijven van een masterscriptie. Het grootste onderzoeksproject moet in het vakgebied van de toxicologie liggen en het kleinere onderzoeksproject bij voorkeur in een andere discipline van bio-farmaceutische wetenschappen. Andere verplichte elementen zijn: een literatuurstudie, inclusief het schrijven van een essay of scriptie, het deelnemen aan twee collegeseries voor gevorderden in de bio-farmaceutische wetenschappen, het volgen van de cursus Scientific Conduct en het bijwonen van twintig colleges en colloquia die worden gegeven door andere masterstudenten in de bio-farmaceutische wetenschappen. In het vrije keuzegedeelte kan de masterstudent kiezen uit aanvullende cursussen of stages.
The Master’s specialisation in Toxicology comprises both compulsory and optional elements. The compulsory components are two research projects, both of which include writing a master’s thesis. The main research project must be within the discipline of Toxicology and the minor research project should preferably be in a different discipline of Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences. Other compulsory components are: a literature study, including writing an essay or thesis, attending two advanced lecture series in disciplines of Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences, participating in the Scientific Conduct course, and attending twenty lectures and colloquia presented by other master’s students in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences.
