De masterspecialisatie Research in Astronomy is de beste keuze voor studenten die een wetenschappelijke carrière in de sterrenkunde (of een gerelateerd gebied) ambiëren.
Entry requirements
- A BSc degree in Astronomy from any Dutch university participating in the NOVA research school. Students holding such a degree will be admitted directly to the programme.
- Or: a degree equivalent to the BSc degree mentioned above.
For all other candidates, the Board of Admissions assesses the equivalence of their training to this BSc degree. The range of optional courses in the MSc programme may be limited by the requirement to adapt the programme to the current knowledge of the candidate.
- proof of sufficient proficiency in English: IELTS test level of at least 6.5 or TOEFL score of at least 570/230, evidenced by appropriate test.
This requirement does not apply if you have:- completed your education in Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand or Australia, or
- an International Baccalaureate
Students who have a BSc in Astronomy from Leiden University are directly admissible.
Applicants with a higher professional education (HBO) degree in a related field of science may be considered. For more information, please contact the study adviser.
