Het Instituut Bestuurskunde legt de nadruk op het functioneren van diverse politiek-bestuurskundige systemen op lokaal, nationaal en internationaal niveau, op de relatie tussen politiek en bestuur, de organisatie van de publieke sector, ethische vraagstukken en beleidsanalyse. Extra nadruk wordt gelegd op het belang van instituties voor het functioneren en hervormen van politiek-bestuurlijk processen.
Organisation
The Institute of Public Administration moves to Campus The Hague, location Stichthage (above the Central Station), as of 1 February 2012. From this date all lectures and seminars will take place in The Hague.
Transferring the Institute of Public Administration and its master’s programme to the Hague Campus creates many new opportunities. Students and researchers will be closer to their object of study. Taking courses and carrying out research in the political and administrative heart of the Netherlands will enhance our degree programmes and our scientific research. Moreover, for students it will mean a wider range of possible traineeships and job prospects, and a closer connection with the field of action.
