De masterspecialisatie Pharmacology bestaat uit verplichte – en keuzeonderdelen. Belangrijk onderdeel van de verplichte vakken zijn de twee onderzoeksprojecten, beiden inclusief het schrijven van een masterscriptie. De belangrijkste onderzoeksproject moet binnen de discipline van de farmacologie, de medische farmacologie of klinische farmacologie vallen. Het kleinere onderzoeksproject valt bij voorkeur in een andere discipline van de bio-farmaceutische wetenschappen. De keuzeonderdelen kunnen gevuld worden met vakken uit het aanbod van aanvullende cursussen of met een stage.

- A BSc degree in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Pharmacy from any Dutch university. Students holding such degree will directly be admitted to the programme. For all other candidates, the Admissions Committee will evaluate the equivalence of their previous training to this Bachelor of Science degree. Please note, that basic research training in the field of life sciences is required. Students who have a BSc in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University are directly admissible.
- Proof of sufficient proficiency in English: IELTS test level of at least 6.5 or TOEFL score of at least 570/230, evidenced by appropriate test.
This requirement does not apply if you have:- completed your education in Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand or Australia, or
- an International Baccalaureate
