Entry requirements
To qualify for admission to the Master of Laws Advanced Studies programme in Public International Law, applicants should posses:
- Full degree in Law (offering access to legal practice in the country where it was obtained), or equivalent degree from a recognised University/Law School, with evidence of excellent academic performance illustrated by marks on university transcript, and relevant experience related to public international law.
Applicants should submit:
- academic transcript of relevant prior degree(s) and other documented evidence of relevant experience related to public international law;
- a letter of motivation illustrating experience and interest in matters of public international law and either of the two specialisation tracks;
- two letters of recommendation from current or previous professors and/or employers;
- evidence proving English-language proficiency, validated through a TOEFL test (600 paper-based/250 computer-based or 100 Internet-based) or IELTS test (7.0), occasionally complemented by a telephone interview. This requirement does not apply if you have:
- completed your education in Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand or Australia, or
- an International Baccalaureate.

Advanced Studies programmes in” and “Public International Law”. If you choose “LL.M.” and “Public International Law”, you are applying for the regular LL.M. programme and not the Advanced Studies programme.
