Deze combinatie van wetenschap en bedrijfsleven leidt je op als onderzoeker in de wiskunde en bereidt je voor op het bedrijfsleven en de industrie. In nauwe samenwerking met senioronderzoekers werk je aan jouw eigen onderzoeksproject, en in colleges verdiep je je kennis over theorieën op de grenzen van de wetenschap. In een netwerk- en praktijkgericht programma over management, business en ondernemerschap leer je over het leiden van onderzoeksgedreven bedrijven en het profiteren van zakelijke kansen die worden gecreëerd door het onderzoek. Deze kennis en vaardigheden leer je toe te passen tijdens een stage bij een bedrijf of met een zakelijke opdracht.

Entry requirements
- A BSc degree in Mathematics or a BSc major in Mathematics, obtained at a Dutch university. Students holding such a degree will directly be admitted to the programme.
- For all other candidates, an Admission Committee will judge the equivalence of their previous training to this Bachelor of Science degree. The choice in optional courses in the Master of Science programme may be limited by the need to adapt the programme to the actual knowledge of the candidate.
The admission process may include an interview by the Admissions Committee.
- Proof of sufficient proficiency in English: IELTS test level of at least 6.0 or TOEFL score of at least 550/213, evidenced by an appropriate test.
This requirement does not apply if you have:- completed your education in Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand or Australia, or
- an International Baccalaureate
- Applicants with a higher professional education (HBO) degree in a related field of science may be eligible to be admitted to the master’s programme. An Admission Committee will judge the equivalence of their previous training to a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree. The choice in optional courses in the Master of Science programme may be limited by the need to adapt the programme to the actual knowledge of the candidate.
