De eenjarige masteropleiding Islamic Theology richt zich op de studie van de hedendaagse Islam. De focus van het programma is voornamelijk theogisch, maar vanuit de wetenschappelijke achtergrond van de docenten worden ook de juridische, etnische, politieke, historische en sociologische kanten van het onderwerp belicht.

Programme
Students follow four seminars, three of which are obligatory. The student is free to choose a fourth seminar within or outside the Institute of Religious Studies.
Each seminar consists of obligatory and optional literature, individual tutoring, tutorials, presentations, writing of papers or written exams. The programme is concluded by a thesis.
