Als je voor de masterspecialisatie Coach voor Leren en Ontwikkeling kiest, kies je voor een traject waarin je leer-, emotionele en gedragsproblemen van leerlingen op school op basis van wetenschappelijke inzichten identificeert, diagnosticeert en behandelt. Ook evalueer je de effecten van de gehanteerde behandeling.
Programme
The programme consists of four substantive courses, devoted to the following subjects:
• Coaching and supervision
• Development and evaluation of individual teaching programmes
• Learning problems
• Diagnosis and treatment
In addition, students are trained in research methods and techniques, they do an internship and write a master’s thesis under the supervision of a researcher. The theme for the students’ internship in secondary education is the approach applied by the school in providing internal support for pupils’ development. The thesis is based on an analysis and evaluation of a quality control programme aimed at an individual pupil, an analysis of the pupil’s problems and the support he or she is given, and setting up and carrying out an action plan.
