De masterspecialisatie Applied Mathematics richt zich op studenten die zich willen specialiseren binnen de analyse, stochastiek of wiskunde toegepast in de life sciences. Populaire collegeonderwerpen zijn bijvoorbeeld dynamische systemen, differentiaalvergelijkingen, percolatie, kansrekening en wiskunde van celbiologie.
Career
The Master’s specialisation in Applied Mathematics is an ideal basis for becoming a mathematical researcher within an (international) industrial environment, such as in Akzo-Nobel, Shell, Philips or TNO. Our graduates find jobs as well in government related advisory counsils, in communication and information technology, and logistics. The Applied Mathematics specialisation also serves as an excellent preparation for a career in academia, starting for example with one of our PhD programmes.
